Rocktime - Innovators of the market-leading verso™ licensing software to local government, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an important five year contract to supply Sefton Council with its verso™ licensing software to manage and automate the process for HMO Licensing for the borough.
The contract was awarded following a competitive tendering process involving a number of industry competitors through which Rocktime demonstrated its abilities to deliver not only on cost and quality, but also its deep technical knowledge of the private rented sector market.
Rocktime’s team of software specialists have configured verso™ for councils across the UK for all types of local government licensing applications including Market Traders, Temporary Events, Garden Waste, Bulky Waste and of course HMO Licensing. Across the U.K. verso™ now manages in excess of 20,000 HMO license applications, a number expected to grow significantly once all ‘in development’ clients are made live over the coming months.
This contract, due to go-live in early 2018 is the culmination of Sefton’s decision regarding the licensing consultations on the Additional and Selective licensing proposals which were held in May 2017, and brings to bear a move to an online application process with inbuilt data validation and licence renewal. This will save the council both time and money on application processing and licence production.
