Today (March 1, 2018) Metropolitan Borough of Sefton in Merseyside launches its new online application process for Mandatory, Selective and Additional HMO Licensing. The new cloud-based system, powered by Rocktime’s market leadingverso™ licensing software replaces the legacy Flare system supplied by Civica™; and will simplify the process of both applying for and managing the expected 3700+ HMO licence applications.
Working closely with the Housing Standards team at Sefton Council, Rocktime’s developers worked tirelessly to configure and deliver the verso™ system in under two months from the date of order. The new system is the culmination of Sefton’s decision regarding the licensing consultations on the Additional and Selective Licensing proposals which were held in May 2017 and brings to bear a move to an online application process with inbuilt data validation and licence renewal. This will save the council both time and money on application processing and licence production.
I cannot recommend Martin, David and the Project Team at Rocktime highly enough. Our experiences with them throughout the full development process to the implementation of the Verso system to manage our Selective, Mandatory (HMO) and Additional (HMO) licensing schemes was flawless.
Such a helpful and experienced team from start to finish, achieving our extremely challenging timescale. One landlord who submitted an application on the first day has summed up our experience by saying, "May I congratulate the team that put this application process together the software gets a 10 out of 10 from me.”
