Rocktime - Innovators of the market-leading verso™ licensing software for the public sector, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an important two-year contract to supply Burnley Borough Council with its verso™ licensing software to manage and automate the process for the borough's Selective Licensing scheme.
The contract was awarded following a competitive process involving a number of industry competitors through which verso™ demonstrated its abilities to deliver not only on cost and quality but also Rocktime's deep technical knowledge of the private rented sector market.
Rocktime’s team of software specialists have configured verso™ for councils across the UK for all types of local government licensing applications including Market Traders, Taxi, Alcohol, Personal and of course HMO Licensing. Across the U.K. verso™ now manages in excess of 120,000 license applications through its verso™ platform, a number expected to grow significantly once all ‘in development’ clients are made live over the coming months.
This contract, due to go live in November of 2019 is the culmination of Burnley Borough Council's decision regarding the licensing consultations on Selective licensing and brings to bear a move to an end-to-end online application process for new and renewal applications together with a suite of new tools to assist council officers with both processing and enforcement of licence applications. This will save the council both time and money on application processing and licence production.
We are delighted that Burnley Borough Council has selected Rocktime to carry out this important project. This contract is a further example of the power and draw of verso™, a software solution that has taken the local government licensing market by storm over the last three years and reinforces Rocktime’s well-respected position with its public sector clients.
